When I moved into my current house 18 years ago, The Drapery Shop installed all my blinds; verticals for the sliders and wide-slat blinds, which were 'the blind' back then. They all lasted for over 15 years and when it was time to replace and update, The Drapery Shop came out and installed shutters and the panel blinds for my sliders.

Everyone who comes to my home compliments me on my window coverings and I let them know how great it was to work with The Drapery Shop. Theresa is so knowledgeable and helpful and their delivery times and installation services are awesome. The shutters are definitely my 'forever' solution but if I ever need to replace the slider panels, The Drapery Shop will definitely get my business.

Our family recently while looking for blinds to accent our existing drapery saw a van on our street advertising for The Drapery Shop a local business to our area in San Marcos. We contacted a gentleman named Mark Trible who is the installation manager at the company. We promptly made an appointment with Mark. He came to our house and showed us a wide variety of blinds and window coverings in detail of which we chose to use Woven Woods from Horizons. The estimate for customizing, and installation etc. was within the range we could afford. Mark after accepting our order kept us up to date on the progress of the manufacturing of the blinds that we wanted, and when finished immediately came over to do the installation. The entire process was well below the estimated time we were originally given for completion by about 3 days.
Mark Trible displayed patience, confidence, and kindness throughout the installation. He was neat and orderly handling our furniture with care and never making any sort of mess. He was very proficient and professional during the entire process. What really amazed us besides being so thorough is that he went well above, and beyond what we expected from him, removing our existing drapery, and re-installing it so it would be anchored into the wall more securely therefore preventing a possible safety hazard if it fell, which it actually did once before. He checked and secured all of our drapery in the house even in windows we did not install the Woven Woods from Horizon blinds we ordered. I applaud his effort and the company for being so very thorough from the very start.

This a great company in Vista. When I was looking for new window coverings I found them to be the best of all the drapery shops I visited. They were very friendly and helpful so I used them again to pick out some great Hunter Douglas vertical blinds. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for new drapes, shutters, or blinds.

Experts in design and great at customer service!!

I love my new drapes and window blinds.  I have new ceiling height drapes for 2 sliding doors and one window and cellular binds for 4 windows.  I got 3 bids and The Drapery Shop was substantially cheaper than the other 2.  The Drapery Shop makes their drapes in-house, which I think contributes to their lower costs.  All in all, sooo happy!

I needed some extremely long drapes for my patio sliding door and the window above it (144"). I wasn't sure what would look good. Theresa, their design expert, came out and helped me decide what to choose. She was very helpful and so knowledgeable. She helped me pick what type of pleats (triple Parisian) and the right fabric (a sheer textured fabric that matches my color scheme).  Because they have their own workroom the drapes were ready in 3 weeks. The price was significantly less than other estimates I obtained due to their workroom bring on site.  The installers were quick, efficient and did an expert job. I am so happy with the results.  I will definitely use them again.

The linen blackout drapes in my guest room have transformed it -- my guests are sleeping so much better! I would say they keep virtually all light completely out!

Theresa knows her stuff. I had wanted to keep my former wooden hardware (rod and rings), but she advised me to go with new, as the drapes would not function as well with my more decorative than practical set-up. I am so very glad I went with her advice!

The curtains are beautiful, and perfectly constructed.

Decorating a brand new home can be daunting. We heard from others about The Drapery Shop and met with Theresa. She measured most of the windows for plantation shutters before the builder finished our home, ordered them and they were installed immediately after we got the keys. No sheets or paper on windows for these new owners! We have continued to work with Theresa who has helped us select fabrics for bedspreads, drapes, pillows, etc. She has also helped with suggesting paint colors. She has an eye for design no matter what your taste and style. We have had furniture recovered and are impressed with the craftsmanship and dedication of the staff. These new home owners did their homework and shopped for the best value. The Drapery Shop provides excellent quality at a reasonable price!
