2. We come to you or you can visit our showroom for window treatment ideas. Many companies and most designers do
not have showrooms.
3. Our window treatment specialists are knowledgeable in all types of window coverings including draperies, blinds,
shades, motorization, and shutters. Most companies today only do blinds.
4. We fabricate draperies in our own workroom with extreme attention to detail. Our seamstresses have many years
of experience. We have a custom upholstery shop on site, where we also fabricate custom pillows and bedding. Most
companies subcontract their jobs.
5. We use our own certified installers with years of experience. We are properly licensed and bonded, fully protecting
your investment. Many companies subcontract installers who are not licensed and with no insurance at all.
6. We offer thousands of fabric choices, carrying most national brands, many at mill direct pricing. We are then
able to pass along the savings to you. Many companies offer a limited selection from local jobbers.
7. We are a Hunter Douglas Gallery Showroom, displaying the most up to date styles of shading and blinds with many
different lift options. We also carry a large variety of other blinds at discounted pricing. Many companies only
work out of their cars and have no showroom.
8. If you should have problems with products purchased from The Drapery Shop, we are able to repair most blinds
and shades in your home. We also have a blind repair facility on site and carry a large inventory of parts. Most
companies who do blinds have you, the customer, box up the blins and send it back to the factory for repair.
9. We offer longevity and stability that very, very few companies can match. We began in business in 1972. We've
been at our current location since 1982 and own our own facility mortgage free. We will be here if and when you
need us, unlike our competition, who are here today and gone tomorrow.
